Designed by California architect Ronald Fream, the man responsible for the golf course at Disneyland Paris, the Krakow Valley Golf Club challenges visitors to navigate the professional championship 18-hole course.
Built in 2003 in an attempt to introduce golf to the Poles, the stunning surroundings of lush foliage and a Jurassic rock formation make the perfect setting for a leisurely stroll and a punt with a golf club.
The 70 or so large bunkers add to the scenery as well as providing stern tests for the players and elevated tees offer spectacular views overlooking the course.
The Valley Golf Club also has a 6-hole practice course, a covered driving range and a short game practice area. Bear in mind that the conditions are best during spring to autumn as Krakow is subject to heavy snowfall in the winter months.
