Morskie Oko
Address: Plac Szczepański 8
Area: Old Town
Type: Polish
Price range: Mid Range
Rating: 4.13
Morskie Oko, is a mid range venue for traditional polish, and Eastern European food.
The draw of this place however, isn’t just the food but also the cultural entertainment; complete with traditional musicians and some dancers who readily display their talents for the guests during their meals.
The food is good for the price, but this is more of a “lets do something fun and different” place, as opposed to “lets have an amazing meal.”

My wife and I loved very much the pork ribs that they served in Morskie Oko.
We were there in a cold evening in December but the food and the vodka kept us warm!
I don't think it was expensive at all, given the location, quality and amount of food!

You must try "pierogi" and "oscypek", they are true polish food. Lovely atmosphere, stuff with funny clothes. Decor is heavy, a lot of timber might be depressing.

A very characteristic place, worth of visiting. The food was really delicious, traditional, polish cuisine. But.. It was a bit to expensive. I also didn't really see much people over there. I would recommend it to visit once, but I also think, that you can find a lot of places around the main square which also serve a very good food, also polish, but in better prices. That was the only thing I would change there. But still - they were wearing such cool clothes! :)

A bit expensive, but still worth of seeing place. I loved the inside, everything in wood and the stuff wearing this traditional polish clothes. Food was delicious, portions were huge, but still it could be cheaper. Even though this place is worth of visiting at least once.
