Chlopskie Jadlo is basically just Polish food, not that there’s anything basic about Polish food, but it is in Krakow.
Consistently good reviews for this fairly priced spot. New-comers should take note of the calming, tranquil environment as well as the friendly service. Your best bet here is probably to have a salad, soup or the traditional polish stuffed dumplings and a good wine or cold beer(if you drink of course).
Lunch and dinner are available. Perhaps not the best venue for big groups, so be warned if you’re having a party.

It was a nice experience all together, beginning with the interior design, sort of folk-like feeling, to delicious menu. We've tried many polish dishes and they were all really good. I would totally recommend if you'd like to see what it means polish cuisine!

I've been to Chlopskie Jadlo few times already this year and each time it is a very enjoyable experience! First of all, the atomsphere is very friendly and I really like the decorations. The staff is helpful and attentive and the service is very quick! The food itself is delicious with a good choice of traditional Polish meals. The last time we organised a business meeting there with guests from the UK and France and they loved it! We were given a lot of attention especially while making a selection from the menu. The price is very affordable and the location right in the city centre! Excellent place for a casual meal as well as for business meetings! Can't wait to go there again :)

This place is perfect if you want to try typical polish cuisine. You can try there different kind of pierogi, zurek and bigos. Everything was so delicious, but maybe a bit greasy.

My husband is from Krakow. This is definitely one of our "go to" spots when we visit. I'm spoiled, because I married an excellent cook, and yet we both love eating here. It is well-priced and tastes wonderful. I've never been disappointed. If you have never tasted authentic Polish food, this is the place to visit. You will be happy you did. Don't worry about the calories, you walk enough in Europe that you'll not gain a pound. :-)

If you had guests from other countries, that would be your choice to show what a Polish cousin tastes like.
They serve really delicious, but on the other hand, quite fat food.
A bit overpriced, but it's worth going at least once.
