Opened in June at Plac Szczepański, a few meters from the Market Square. Scandale Royal's décor is enticingly inviting with its different shades of purple and grey, and elements of silver and gold. While to the outside eye it may seem that this is primarily a cocktail bar with its lavish stock of alcohols from all over the world, the emphasis on its restaurant aspect is revealed with the quality and extent of the menu.

Chef Fabrice Boulahouache hails from France and is at the helm of the kitchen here creating a fusion menu which blends the best of Polish, French and Asian. A delightful menu offers appetizers such as the tomato tartar with basil; shrimp tempura in sweet-and-sour sauce;  and main dishes such as the Japanese-style filet of salmon served with marinated ginger and black Rice.

With great cocktails, breakfast, and an excellent lunch menu, Scandale Royal is indeed a welcome addition to the bubbling center of Krakow.
