Alchemia, was one of the first bars opened in the heart of Kazimierz and is definitely one of the most special pubs in Krakow. It is not only a place where you can have a drink it is a a cultural institution. Alchemia host bands and live music acts from all over the globe and regularly exhibits art from local artists. Entering Alchemia transports you into another world. The lights are low, and candles map out your path. You can feel an unforgettable air of bohemian decadence. This atmosphere owes much to the design of the pub which is based on antique furbishings and accessories dating from a bygone era.

Despite its fame and originality Alchemia remains one of the best value pubs in Krakow. Prices are reasonable and there is a wide selection of drinks on the menu. The amazing atmosphere of this pub combined with relatively low prices make Alchemia very popular with students and artists, both Polish and foreign, so you can always meet some interesting people there.

When going to Krakow there are a few places you can’t miss. Wawel Castle, the Old Market Square and Kazimierz. And when in Kazimierz you absolutely have to stop by Alchemia – a magical bar in a magical city.

You can make reservations but it should be noted that. All reservations are requested to be collected half an hour before the show. All the reservations not collected till that time will be cancelled. We appologize for inconveniences - they are due to low number of seats in the music hall.
